Marc earned his certificate in Turf Management from Michigan State University in 1990. He has worked in nearly every facet of the green industry, including 8 years as a Golf Course Superintendent. With over 25 years of experience, he takes pride in being the president of a growing small business. Dan takes on many tasks, including routing, customer service, sales, quality control, as well as lawn and vegetation control applications. His turf degree from Penn State, business degree from Washtenaw Community College, and resume include time as a Golf Course Superintendent. He has served on committees and boards for the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association, Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in the past and is currently serving as the Vice President of the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation. Dan is a Landscape Industry Certified Lawn Care Manager accredited by the National Association of Landscape Professionals, a Certified Snow Professional as well as an Advanced Snow Manager by the Snow & Ice Management Association. Dan has also been a grounds volunteer for a PGA Championship and US Amateur. This makes him a great fit for our team.

Denny was one of the first employees at Stine Turf & Snow when we started full time in 2006. He works part-time helping with pesticide applications and tasks such as driving for the spray technicians to facilitate the spraying of parking lot island turf and trees. He is a retired car hauler and enjoys his grandchildren’s sporting events and caring for his own lawn when he isn’t working.

Courtney is a great utility player, covering any base we need him to. His main responsibility in the spring and fall is aeration and over seeding, while in the summer months he applies vegetation control in beds, parking lots, etc… Courtney provides excellent customer service and spends as much time as possible with his family.

Chris has been a member of our team since 2020 as a certified pesticide applicator. In the winter months he works within our snow removal division. He resides in Chesaning with his family.

Heidi is a new member of the team coming from the healthcare field. She is most likely the smiling face that will answer your call. She handles multiple office roles such as routing, customer service and accounts receivables. She has experience in snow removal operations as well. Heidi lives with her family in the Owosso area.
